CREW WANTED

Kialoa III is currently and regularly looking for crew members to join us in the Caribbean for the upcoming part of the season.

We are actively sailing between islands, taking part in regattas, and running charter trips. We have a few spots available on board and are opening them to people who want to experience life at sea as part of a working crew.

No age limit. No sailing experience required.

The objective is not to find experienced sailors only, but people who are motivated, reliable, and willing to learn. You will be integrated into the crew and involved in the daily operations of the boat.

Life on board is hands-on. You will take part in sailing maneuvers, including hoisting sails, trimming, and general deck work but also interior work (cooking, cleaning). During passages, you will be involved in watches depending on the schedule. When alongside or at anchor, there is also regular maintenance and preparation of the boat.

During regattas, the pace increases and teamwork becomes essential. Everyone has a role to play, and communication is key. It is a good opportunity to experience racing on a historic yacht and understand how a crew operates under pressure.

Alongside racing, we also run charters. This involves welcoming guests on board and contributing to the overall experience. This can include preparing the boat, assisting during sailing, and helping maintain a good atmosphere on board.

The schedule varies depending on the weather, our bookings, and race calendars. Flexibility is important, as plans can change quickly. Living on board also means shared spaces and adapting to a group environment.

We are mainly sailing in the Caribbean, moving between different islands throughout the season. Exact locations and dates will be shared depending on availability and current plans.

Kialoa III is a historic racing yacht that is still actively sailing today. The project combines offshore racing, cruising, charters, and new activities such as wing foiling camps. Joining the boat means being part of a dynamic and evolving environment.

This opportunity is open to people who are curious about sailing, interested in teamwork, and ready to be involved in day-to-day life on board. No specific background is required, but a good attitude and willingness to participate are essential.

If you are interested in joining or would like more information, feel free to get in touch with us.
